View from Casa Sueno Tropical
While we were there, a tropical storm hovered the area, stifling the days with heat and humidity hot and humidity and the nights with a spectacle of lights and thunder.

Baek-il

The hundred-day mark is celebrated with a party called a baek-il. In the past, it was common for babies in Korea to die in infancy. So, no one outside of the immediate family circle is supposed to see a newborn for 100 days.
Sophia's 100 day was marked with a small celebration and an enormous rice cake.
